On yesterday, I helped my husband with the thick wood panels that we will use for our built-in basement seating/storage area. He mentioned that he managed to complete the primary cuts for the seating. Now he will need to further trim the previously cut pieces before completing the final installation. Although we are well behind schedule with our basement remodeling, I can now finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. If we keep on track, we should have a nice and complete basement by the end of next month.

When my husband and I first married, we lived in a one-bedroom apartment. It was rather large as it was over 1000 feet, and it featured a wonderful view overlooking a forested area. It was the first time that I lived in Queenstown Apartment other than some of the hotels where we stayed while on holiday. I really liked having a large balcony, an exercise room, a 24-hour door attendant and all of the other amenities that came with the building. After a short while, I became accustomed to the lifestyle and I guess I began to take it for granted. My appreciation for the comforts we had increased when we ultimately purchased our own single family home and left our old life behind. So much has changed in my life over the past 10 years that it almost makes my head spin to think about it. Little more than a decade ago, I had never traveled outside the Philippines. Indeed, I had never even traveled by plane before. Now, I am such a seasoned traveler that I can arrange auckland airport rental cars for our family travel. I have visited over one half dozen countries and as many states in the United States. We expect to visit my sister in Brisbane, Australia, during our next trip to Australia. We will likely make stops in Thailand, the Philippines and New Zealand while we are in the area. We are in the preliminary stages of planning now, but hope to have confirmed travel arrangements by the end of the summer.

I was skimming through the movie channels on my directtv packages, and came across one called "Quarantine." It looked like I was going to be stuck watching this one, because I am a huge zombie fan. The movie was shot from the perspective of the cameraman, who is a character in the movie. The journalistic approach gives the movie a sense of a reality show effect, and that is just fine with me. I think we all have had some influence from reality television, and it was good to see that it was represented in today's cinema this way. Instead of looking cheesy, the gore in this movie was super-realistic. Blood around every corner that you look. In the beginning, you follow a video journalist while she interviews fire fighters. She goes on a call with them, only to find that they all are responding to a virus contamination site. Before they can get out, they all start becoming infected as well. No matter what happens throughout the movie, the characters manage to keep the camera rolling the whole time. This was meant to leave a video journal of their experiences, and the movie is, supposedly, what was discovered afterward. This movie was definitely not for kids, and should only be seen by adults that do not mind detailed gore and extreme violence. I also read somewhere that this movie was a remake of another film from another country. I'd be interested in finding out what that movie was called too, and watching it also. If you are a fan of zombie movies, then this will be on your favorite list for years to come as well. Don't take my word for it, check it out and let me know when you find out of the sequel's release!

Now that summer is right around the corner, it is time to upgrade the summer wardrobes of my family and me. I think we will not need much as our existing summer clothing remains in good shape. However, I am sure that I will need some new shoes. As I started jogging over a month ago, I already know that I need a new pair of running shoes. I also think I will need a pair of good Backpacking Boots. We are an active family, and after driving through the Virginia mountains recently, I cannot wait to get back and explore more closely.
I have been exercising for a month now and I am very proud of some of my preliminary results. Since I started, I have lost as much as 8 pounds, to announce the result. When I first started my exercise routine I was 126 pounds, and now I am 118 pounds. Up until now, much of my routine has consisted of jogging on my treadmill. I have also included some weight training and aerobics. Recently as the weather has improved, I have also begun to go jogging outside. I believe the course that I run is anywhere from 3.5 to 4 miles long, which is much longer than what I had historically run. Thus, I am hopeful that I will begin to observe the fruits of my labor soon.

My husband is an attorney and I think his profession has made me especially mindful of what it takes to find competent counsel. I think one of the ideal ways to find a good attorney is to speak with someone who has had a good experience with a particular attorney. Short of that, I think you have to rely upon the resume of the attorney or that of the overall firm. For example, if you were looking for a good raleigh corporate lawyer, you might obtain a firm's "resume" by looking at its website to determine what are its specialties.
