professional recordings

It is amazing to think about all of technological changes that have occurred during the past twenty years. It was not too long ago that you had to use multi-track tape in a studio to create professional quality audio recordings. Nowadays, you can create professional recordings almost anywhere with devices like the apogee duet. The device is especially useful for enthusiasts who have a home studio or individuals who desire to record special events on-location. The various iPad recording applications help to fully unlock all of the potential of the device.

memorable parts

Whenever I go to a wedding, I think one of the most beautiful and memorable parts of the ceremony is the couple's first dance. When I got married, our dance was nice but it was not very exciting. I have thought about renewing our vows someday. If we choose to do so, it would be nice to brush up on my dancing skills. Although I would be too embarrassed to take lessons in a large class, I would be very interested in taking wedding dance lessons with the Dance Doctor. It is affordable and the testimonials suggest that amazing results are possible.

fascinating places

I have sometimes wondered about the museums. They are fascinating places to look and from which to learn. It seems to me that the only thing that makes people come back over and over again is the promise of laying your eyes upon a custom instrument formerly owned by someone famous. Earlier today, I was perusing Fender Custom Shop Bass online. It had quite a few excellent custom guitars, any of which would be the pride of any aspiring musician.

skin care solution

I just learned about a product that seems to be a great skin care solution. It is called shea butter and is imported from Ghana. It is used to make hand creams and lip balms and is also used to moisturize and soften skin. In fact, it is even recommended to help minimize stretch marks following pregnancy. As if that were not enough, it can also be used on your hair to restore its natural sheen and luster. I will do a little more research to learn what users say then consider picking up a sample to try myself.

accessible instrument

Our two oldest daughters are currently enrolled in piano lessons. Already, we have begun to think that our second oldest might be more interested in a different instrument. We have considered both a violin and a guitar, but I think a guitar would be better. I find it to be a more accessible instrument. Also, I know that we will be able to get her the best acoustic guitar for her age without spending a fortune. I do not think that would be possible with the violin. We already have an old acoustic guitar. I suppose we should give it to her to see if she likes playing around with it first.

Well happy fall season everyone hope you're having great summer with your love one's. It seems the shopping season starts earlier and earlier every day. So if you are going to shop early this time but dont know what to get. You might want to consider looking at best selection of class rings. They offer all kinds of high quality rings that you can give to your love one's.

The opportunity to see the beauty of the world.

Traveling with my family is a great opportunity to spend some quality time together away from hectic schedules that tied up our everyday lives. As a family, we’ve traveled by plane, train, houseboat, ferry, and car. My children have also been exposed to different cultures, eaten varied of foods, learned important travel etiquette like "You can only ask “Are we there yet?” once a day; "Don’t kick the car/plane seat in front of you", and, most importantly, spent time with Mom and Dad. Bringing your children along can mean extra work and extra expenses, but the benefits are undoubtedly worth it. As they grow older, and life at home is filled with school and work obligations, escaping on vacation together is one way to reconnect as a family, it helps create such amazing memories, and then pass down their love of travel.

classical music

I have a new cousin by marriage who is an accomplished bass guitar player. He is currently a student at Berkeley school of music in Boston, Massachusetts. When I saw a charlotte dj, I could not help but think of him and all of the gigs that he does at bars and clubs. I think it would be cool to see him play an axe guitar like the old 1970s and 1980s rock stars. I know that he certainly loves to look at different guitars and check the different sounds that they produce

When I saw this Cerebral Palsy Network my memory flash back in a painful one that I can never forget. I know how this disease affects badly on the mind of people and family who has already experienced this. UN explainable pain and how it will slowly kill all your hopes and dreams for your love one who unfortunately have this disease. This happen to the family of my childhood best friend her brother is one of the disease victim. After her brother was been diagnose their life changes in many ways. I saw how they struggle and fight every challenge but there were times that even how strong you want to be for the sake of your love one sometimes you can’t stop to broke down and give up. They knows they can’t save her brother in many reasons but they tried their very best to fight and give everything they can to make him happy and might possibly lengthen his life. Because of this challenge out of nowhere their family relationship got stronger than ever. They even also learn from this situation to be open on public and ask more information to other people who might have this kind of problem which been a good step and decision they make to be able to gather a possible ways of treatment that can save and lengthen on her brother’s life. Ocean city 2014

Most of my friends asked me about diet and exercise. However, I told them that first, you should do your goal, Then change your mindset and habit. I can only help 5% to encourage them and 95% is to do their part.
This is me and my girls, unfortunately both of them are not looking at the camera. My little one with her father she is daddy's girl.
I am proud mom of four children's wearing my new swimsuits.

I am concerned that Google's foray into law enforcement reflects a relatively clear violation to one's right to avoid unreasonable search and seizure. Thus, for several years now I have worked hard to identify alternate sources of technology. I am not sure of how many e-mail clients are out there that do not scan the contents of your mailbox. However, I recently learned about this website called is a new service offered by our Private Email Services group (PES). They are the first started PES for the sole purpose of giving away free email accounts on the 'new' internet.
A couple of years back a physician approached our consultancy looking for a secure email service because of his concerns about HIPAA.  His concern was forward thinking because many people don't understand the problems with email.
Most people think the problem with email is that the NSA is watching it.  They are wrong, because the NSA is the least of their worries.
Email is inherently does not have any encryption, even if you encrypt with PGP when you send it through the internet it goes through third party SMTP servers (which can at their own time and leisure capture and then decrypt the message) before getting to the intended recipient (and many times the intended recipient doesn't get the message.)
There are different names for email attacks.  The easiest to understand is the 'man in the middle'.  This is where a hacker either takes over an SMTP server with a virus or actually inserts his own SMTP server into the email's path.  He lets the email pass through to the intended recipient AFTER he keeps a copy for himself.  Think about all variety of content he gets --- personal, medical, photos, signatures, bank accounts, off-color humor.  Once that email is divereted into the hacker's control it can not be recalled or deleted or protected. Very insecure.
There are a variety of encryption protocols and schemes out there but our expert opinion is the best method is a message board also called a portal email system.  PES's first consumer product to market is  This is a encrypted, secured electronic message board which erases all mail/messages to a "24 hour+" standard.  We also erase all of the message logs and attachments.  It is all gone at before the 25th hour whether or not the email was received.  Guaranteed...really!  financially guaranteed that it is (1) erased and (2) only the intended recipient received it.  We have a few more 'secret' features that you have to join to learn...if you are considering blogging for us, please send my an email directly so I can set you up with a FREE account so you can try the service.  We think that you are going to like the ease of use, security features, secrecy and support.
We are working on developing brands around the following:, Private Email Services, Auto-Destructing Electronic Message, auto-destructing electronic messaging service, we can keep a secret, and secrecy & security.
Our FAQ page has a ton of information.  You have permission to use any of our copyrighted information on the website in your blog.
The first product offered to the market is  We have other products that will release in 2015 including: mobile applications, military to family communications, business portals and healthcare/HIPAA portals.  We are starting with consumers first because the demand here is the greatest according to our market research focus groups.

My hairstyle of the week.

Well I have nothing to do at this moment so I go ahead and style my own hair and I put some make up on my face.
So what do you think about my hairstyle? I am just practicing on my own hair since my kids doesn't really like me to brush their hair.

Therefore, if you are searching for home insurance policy. You might want to consider clicking the high light words on this post.

fox carrying map

I wish I have my camera with me this morning. While I was jogging this morning I saw a fox crossing the street. One thing got my attention is the paper in this mouth you know it seems like this fox is bring a map just like on the movie that animal sending note to people. When I came home I talked to my husband about the fox I saw and I explain to him that the fox I saw  it seems like never  afraid to people. Because the fox that we saw in our backyard it seems like very nervous when we try to get closer to her/him. However, the fox I saw this morning  its just like a normal dog that never to be afraid to see people. Therefor, my husband thought that  somebody is feeding this fox and I guess my husband is right because she/he is healthy looking fox.

Guitar Effects

I need to repair the volume control on my daughter's electrical guitar. The instrument is in pretty good shape overall, but is now missing a knob where to volume control should be. I saw a rather musian friend, which I think is exactly what I need. I expect that I will order a potentiometer, and then work to ensure that I can get it properly installed. If so, I look forward to getting it installed and utilizing it.

custom floor mats

I will have had my SUV for one year next month. Thus far, I have done nothing to upgrade the vehicle. However, I am thinking about replacing the headlights, the stereo and the floor mats. Recently, I saw that you can get custom floor mats for most popular makes and models. In fact, it was some ford crown victoria custom floor mats that initially gave me the idea of upgrading my floor mats.

electric guitars

My husband's nephew is a musician who plays the bass guitar. He performs semi-professionally although he is still in college. When he last visited with us, he talked a lot about his dreams of upgrading his equipment and playing professionally. He spent a fair amount of time searching for portable amplifiers and professional grade electric guitars. When I happened upon rivera amplifiers at Guitar Center, I immediately thought of him. Although I think it would be nice if we could purchase a nice amp for him, I really do not know what brand he would prefer. Thus, it might be a good idea to just send him a link to the site and then ask what he thinks is the best value.

Affordable Care

Like many Americans, we were originally quite skeptical about the Affordable Care Act. We had no confident that a government program as sweeping as ObamaCare would do anything to improve our family's access to health care. After doing our homework, however, and signing-up, we are beginning to see the program in a more positive light. First, we researched different insurance options through sites like Then we actually went onto the government's healthcare website to try and sign-up. Ultimately, the program permitted us to get similar coverage for about $300 less per month. Thus, we are quite pleased.

classic watch

I really like the design of the classic Movado museum watch. Although I don’t especially care for the blank face for purposes of telling time, I admit that the look is quite elegant. That said, I have recently been searching for something that is both bright and bold. The museum watch is certainly bold, but it is not bright. I have been looking for something that I could wear on lighter occasions, and it looks like Movado makes several watches that would fit the bill.

whitening lotions, creams, soaps, pills

I think that there should be a campaign in the Philippines for girls/women and even men to embrace their skin color. There are just too many whitening lotions, creams, soaps, pills and even procedures just to have a fairer complexion. I mean come on, those whitening liquid preparations, esp. with hydroquinone included, when not used properly can totally ruin the skin with an awful discoloration that could make you look like a zebra. The opportunistic manufacturers are not even emphasizing it. Whether you are Black, White, Tan, Pale whatever, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. Aim to have a glowing skin instead, and it all starts from within. Eat more vegetables, less cola and artificially-flavored drinks, sleep well and drink plenty of water. Less cost, less damage to your body.

My husband often complains of the need to prepare reports for his clients. He is a business lawyer who counsels a number of companies about all sorts of corporate issues. Sometimes he uses Microsoft Word. Sometimes he uses PowerPoint. Sometimes he uses Excel. The biggest complaint that he has is the need to recreate the format each time he needs to prepare a report. Now, I understand that there is specialized software that serves as a report designer. He has not yet used the product, but seems to be quite excited with the potential time savings that he might enjoy.

Are you ready for your beach suit this summer?

After more than 3 months of hard work, I am now within a few pounds of what I weighed when I met my husband at 20 years of age. My husband is looking quite macho also, as he has managed to build some muscle since he started taking protein to supplement his workout routine. Both of us still have some work to do, but I am confident that we will both reach our goals in advance of our trip to Myrtle Beach next month. Now that it is no longer getting very cold overnight, I can now improve my exercise routine because I can now go for a run outdoors. If the results are anything like they were when I lived in Thailand, I expect that both my husband and I will be very happy with the results.

How Girls spend their money?

This is my friend. She know how to shop good quality stuff but good price.
#shopping#retail_therapy#happiness I'm not shopaholic, I'm helping the economy, I like my money where I can see it, hanging in my closet.

Almost got it my target weight

The power of exercising regularly.
I recently achieved an important milestone in my exercise routine. After exercising regularly since early January of this year, I am finally within about five pounds of my . My progress was quite rapid at first. But after a while, my weight loss began to slow down. Then it seemed as if my weight stalled about ten pounds away from my initial goal. In fact, for a short time it even appeared that I had begun to gain weight instead of lose it. Then, after continuing to exercise for a couple of weeks, I started to see progress again. Just this weekend, I found that I could fit into most of my old clothes that I got when I first arrived in the United States over 7 years ago. This excites me so much that I want to work even harder to lose these last few pounds. When I finally achieve my goal, my husband has promised a new wardrobe and other incentives. Thus, I will have many reasons to celebrate.
My two years old daughter is also exercising. Great job baby to bad the camera is not zoom out.

spring cleaning

I have been cleaning up today. It has not really been an official spring cleaning, but I have been thorough in my efforts to clean the areas under and behind all of our furniture. During my cleaning, I found some holiday cards. Most were photo cards, which caused me to wonder where we might be able to have some made for the next holiday season. I have identified a few options. For example, I know that I can find digital printing in nyc , but I wonder whether they can also include pre-aid postage. Clearly, I have some more research to do, but I think I have a promising lead.

cherry blossom festival 2014

Just having great time even though its not allowed to touch the branches.
It was very nice day lots of lots of people from all over the world, trying to captures good pictures of their kids dogs and of course the cherry tree flowers . One thing I've notice this time is lots of garbage file up. I wonder why they did not take it out the trash. They know that lots of people from different country who want to come over and see the cherry blossom festival in Washington D.C area were all kinds of famous monuments.

formal affair

I love to go to weddings of friends and family members. However, I do not like having to buy clothes in order to attend. Bridesmaids typically have to spend hundreds of dollars to put together their outfits that they may never wear again. For this reason, I think men are fortunate to have resources like that they can use to get what they need at a fraction of the cost to the women who they escort.

Spring fashion

It is absolutely true that you can buy cheap stuff that most of your friends relatives can say wow! you  look fabulous ! on your apparel. Well this is my friend, she have three kids and she is very proud to share this picture with me. Her attire is cost  only 10$ can you tell that? Well I don't.

prospect of making music

As our kids are getting older, we have begun to consider arranging music lessons. Our oldest daughter has recently displayed a natural affinity for the piano and the others seem similarly fascinated by the prospect of making music. I think the key will be matching the right instrument to the right child. We will then need to find a good and affordable source of orchestra instruments to choose from so that they can get the practice that they need. Hopefully, we can find high quality instruments that can withstand the rigors of being in a household with four young children.

analog synthesizers

I wish I knew about Korg Keyboards before I bought another brand for my oldest daughter for Christmas. The keyboard that she has is good, but its features pale in comparison to those of the Korg mini-synthesizer. What is amazing that the mini is less than $600, which makes its price very competitive with other nice keyboards. I think analog synthesizers have a warmer and more inviting sound, which provides an even stronger reason to go for a Korg over virtually any of the popular keyboards.

stationary bike

My husband and I started exercising regularly around the beginning of February. As of today, we have been pursuing our exercise routines for nearly two months. There have been a few challenges in that my treadmill had been acting up recently. As a result, I have spent time on my stationary bike. Also, as the weather has sometimes been mild in the afternoons, I have also had opportunities to go jogging outdoors. I have been very pleas with my progress recently. After observing very little change during the first month of exercise, recently, it appears that I have managed to lose as much as 7 or 8 pounds. Although my weight fluctuates based upon the time of day, I have had a scale reading as low as 114 pounds. This is after weighing-in at 122 pounds (or more) at the start of my exercise program. As we just had the start of the spring season, I am anxious to see how far I can go towards getting back in shape by summertime. After more than five years of carrying a little extra baby fat beginning with the birth of my second child, it is nice to begin to recapture my original size and weight that I had when I first met my husband.

Internet connection problem

Earlier this month, I noticed that our home internet connection had suddenly got really . Although it seems like it had slowed down in the past, this time I thought it was different. I told my husband about it and he said he thought the kids had been tying up our network with different devices that were streaming Netflix or Youtube. He saw that our internet service provider's usage meter had reported that we had very heavy activity on days when he thought it should have been very low. After some troubleshooting, he concluded that our laptop that I use in the kitchen was inexplicably downloading or uploading tens of gigabytes of unknown data. To remedy the problem, he wiped the hard drive of the laptop and reinstalled the operating system. He also installed some good firewall software that had already been installed on our other home computer, but had not been on the laptop. A few bandwidth meter programs seem to confirm that the problem was solved.

I wonder how important the quality of a microphone is. Conceptually, I would expect that it would be extraordinarily important since it is the microphone that one uses to connect the artist to the recording. I know that microphones can be very expensive. However, based on all that I have seen and heard, I believe a cheap akg can produce audio results that are comparable to those produced using high-end microphones costing hundreds of dollars more. Thus, I would challenge the notion that quality does not come cheap.

perfect home

When we purchased our home in 2008, we understood that we were getting a great deal for our local area. However, the differences in housing prices in other parts of the country suggest that we might have a very different standard of living elsewhere. I have friends who live all over the United States and Canada. Most seem to believe that my house is very expensive. I recently looked at a listing of louisville homes, which included some multifamily apartment buildings for a price that was less than our 20% down payment. I know that if we ever relocate to Louisville, we can live very comfortably.

Thank you for my new ASUS Tablet.

I use to take pictures of myself using my Samsung cell phone. Since, I use my cell phone to take pictures the battery it is not good anymore I charge 100% after few minutes of using it my cell phone will shut down by itself. I guess it is time to buy a new battery. However, since I only use my cell phone to take snapped pictures most of the time I did not order new battery yet. Because I used my new ASUS Tablet to take pictures and I like my new ASUS tablet so far.

I took this picture yesterday while getting ready for my work out.

Are you ready for spring?

It is hard to believe that spring will be here in just a few weeks. I cannot say that winter has gone by quickly, because I know that we have done a lot over the past few months. It began with all the guests that we hosted over the holidays. Most notably, my mother in law was with us for over 5 weeks during the holiday season. Shortly after she went back home in early January, the snow started coming. I think we have had snow on the ground of our home constantly for nearly two months now. It seemed like just when the snow from one storm nearly melts; another storm would come and dump more snow. Our kids have probably missed nearly two weeks of school now, so I hope they are able to make-up the time without extending the school year.

aerobic exercises

Both my husband and I have been exercising together consistently since the first week of this month. At first, my exercise focused on weights, our stationary bike and some aerobic exercises like jumping jacks and sit-ups. I did not really like using the bike very much because it seemed to be difficult, but seldom would cause me to sweat. Recently, my exercise has improved because I have been able to go jogging as well. At first, we had a couple of days of mild weather that allowed me to run outdoors. Later, I was able to run on our treadmill, which has not been working properly. I find that I need to manipulate many buttons to get it to work, but over the last few days, I have been able to get it started. I hope that I will be able to continue using the treadmill until the weather warms-up so that I can just jog outdoors every day.

affordable health insurance

We change our health insurance when my husband quit his job two years ago and start his own law firm. I was surprised to find out how difficult it seemed to find affordable health insurance. The difficulty arose from our effort to match the coverage provided by my husband’s former employer. We realized that our former health insurance was good, but we did not fully appreciate how much it would cost on the open market without employer discounts. In light of our time in the market, we paid a lot of attention to the controversy surrounding the Supreme Court’s review of the Obama administration’s health care legislation. I now appreciate the importance of the law in ways that I did not before. Obviously, the provision about pre-existing conditions is important, but there are other aspect relating to the expansion of Medicare eligibility that are similarly important.

building products

It seems like we have been remodeling our home ever since we purchased it in 2008. Over the years, we have managed to transform the character of our house as well as the surrounding land. Shortly after we arrived, we hired landscapers to remove trees, install and rearrange shrubs. We subsequently planted a large cherry tree, which adds some nice character to our front yard every spring season. Indoors, we started with a complete overhaul of our basement. We are currently putting in the final changes in a new lower level bedroom and newly finished laundry area. We installed crown molding throughout the main floor, which really improved the overall impact of the space. Of course, we also painted extensively. After refinishing the wood floors in our living room and dining room shortly after we moved in, we subsequently replaced the laminate floor of our family room, the ceramic tile in our kitchen, and the oak floor in our dining room with new solid Brazilin cherry flooring. The upgrade of the flooring could be the single most substantial change that we have made to our primary living space. I am still astonished at how my daughters started coming to spend time with me in the kitchen when I am cooking or cleaning. They are often content to simply lay on the floor while I work. This is something that they never even contemplated before we installed the new hardwood flooring. Although we looked into a purchasing club shortly after we purchase our home, we never found anything that looked like a good deal. Thus, I was very intrigued when I read a few BuildDirect reviews. The company sells various building products at significant discount from retail prices. Unlike some similar entities that we know of, BuildDirect is not a membership reseller. Instead, anyone can purchase their products so long as you can satisfy certain minimum purchase requirements. I wish we had learned about them 7 years ago as we might have saved lots of cash off what we paid at local big box home store. For more information about them, you can check out their Facebook page at:

Have great time making cake

Well today is a day off  of one of my friend in Canada. She said that instead of going shopping or visiting one of her close it friends in her her area she decide to bake a cake. This time she makes ube cake flavor. And as you know looking at this cake makes me buy one or bake one for myself. My friend learned how to cook cakes while she was in Portugal now she is planning to have a small coffee shop in Canada.

Home Warranty

It is amazing to think that we will have been in our home 6 years later this year. When I look at old photographs of the house, I can quickly see just how much work and money we have invested in our home over the years. Even when we were deciding whether to buy, we quickly realized that the house would need a lot of work. However, overall we thought it was a good thing because we were able to purchase the house at a relatively low price and we figured that we could use the savings on the purchase price to do some much-needed renovations. We got started immediately after we bought the house. Within a few weeks of our purchase, we hired a landscaper, had our floors refinished, and painted most of the house. We also began to demolish our finished basement so that we could begin to remodel. Fortunately, the only specialized arrangements we had to make related to termite treatment and a home warranty. After looking at a number of warranty companies like Choice Home Warranty, we settled on a policy that provided rather comprehensive coverage. Fortunately, to date, we have only needed to file a couple of claims, which is good for an older home that is nearly 50 years old. One thing that has recently come to our attention is that there were cracks formed during an earthquake in our area a few years ago. No one was hurt, but the earthquake was quite strong and very scary. When it was over, we noticed that some of the molding around the ceiling looked like it had separated from the wall. Although it is not very obvious, it is something that we need to address before the cracks widen. We have also replaced almost all of the major appliances in our home. This includes our refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and microwave. We also discarded an old garbage disposal and replaced it with a beverage cooler. I know that Choice Home Warranty also insures home appliances. This is especially useful in light of the substantial investment we made for our Thermador kitchen. Anyhow, if you want more information about them, you can check their Facebook.

We know that motorcycle helmets are very helpful too many motorist people or to people who ride motorcycle. In addition, for that matter am debating whether I will buy bluetooth motorcycle helmets for my brother. I am just nervous to spend money at this point since my husband just started to work couple of days ago. Well maybe I will just wait until black Friday and hope that I can find great deal.

Getting ready for the summer

Like many other people reason why I exercise. It is because I want to stay healthy for my family especially to my daughters.
After I exercise this morning I decided to take picture of myself using my canon camera.

modern dining tables

Why I like dark furniture’s? Well the reason why love dark furniture’s because one we have small children. Always touching rubbing stuff on the furniture’s and sometimes it’s really hard to clean up you know what I mean. I saw nice modern dining tables this morning while browsing online. I have to point the dining table that really like and I think this is the perfect dining table for us since we have small children. As you can see the picture of this dining table. The chairs is not so high or too low. Looking at this picture even my 4year old daughter can set on this dining table without any problem. This table is made in dark oak, &finish matches Jesse’s lovely sideboards. This table is also a perfect size, at 160cm. The middle extension adds another 60cm to make the table a roomy 220 cm - easily enough for 8 people, & maybe even enough for 10.

how's your heating bill this month?

Yesterday, my husband mentioned that we had not cleaned out baseboard heating vents in a while and that he thought dust might be contributing to the poor heating that we had been experiencing in certain parts of the house. He cleaned the vent in one of our daughter's rooms, and it seemed to take a long time for him to finish. He had to remove the cover then use a brush to try to remove some of the dust and dirt. Afterwards, he went over the entire apparatus with our vacuum cleaner. It seemed to take a long time for him to finish. Thus, I was not very surprised that he stopped after working on only one room.

biggest snowfall

We had our biggest snowfall in years earlier this January.  I believe the final count was a report of around 8 inches in our area.  After the snowfall ended, the weather got cold so it never fully melted even as we have now reached the end of the month.  I went out with my kids to enjoy the now right after it stopped snowing.  However, it was so cold that they were only interested in sledding and playing outside for about 20 minutes before they began to complain about the cold and go back inside.  We got another inch or so earlier this week, which made everything look nice and pretty again, but it appears that we have finally completed this unseasonably cold weather and the snow will likely be completely melted by the end of the weekend.

Samsung Galaxy Ace

On yesterday, I began to get an error message on my cell-phone regarding the internal memory. I do not remember ever getting the message before so I asked my husband to fix it. This morning, he reported that it appears that the problem is rather common with the Samsung Galaxy Ace. Amazingly, the phone only has about 180 megabytes of internal memory. I thought this was incredibly low for a phone that otherwise has such advanced features. Anyway, after a bit of research, he concluded that he needed to "root" my phone, which is similar to jail breaking it. After he did that, he said it was easy to force the phone to supplement the internal memory with the mini-SD card. As we have an extra 32-gigabyte SD card, my phone is now as good as new with plenty of extra space for pictures, music and videos.

traveled internationally

One thing good about having a regular job and no mortgage is that you can really save money. Having good cash reserves allows for very nice vacations and family time. It has been a while since our last family vacation. Our last few trips were not very exotic. We just went to the beach a few times last year. It has been more than three years since we traveled internationally. My husband and I have begun to consider the next place we want to travel. If we can work through some financial issues, I would love to visit Paris and other part of Europe. However, it has been a while since I saw my siblings. Thus, any talk of travel would have to include the Philippines. I also have a sister who lives in Brisbane, Australia and an aunt in New Zealand. I would be interested in going to both of those places too. If we were lucky, it would be wonderful if we can find cheap flights to each the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand. Once we are able to arrange a good flight, we can then turn our attention to finding a serviced apartment as I think our family has outgrown typical hotel rooms.

Happy holiday

Today is Martin Luther King birthday. Hope everybody is having great time with their friends and family.

While my children is playing this morning I make their lunch and snack which chicken empanada.
This is my first time to make chicken empanada and it taste really good. I might try to cook this again when my friend come over. I got the recipe in youtube. So if you like to make chicken empanada, just type in chicken impanada in youtube. It take more time to make the dough. But once your done making the dough you can go ahead and cut the chicken the vegetables and you follow the instructions that's it. Anyhow, that is all for now happy Monday to you all.

memorable holiday season

Once again, I think my husband may have gone a little overboard in his efforts to ensure that all of our kids have a good and memorable holiday season. He earlier asked each of them to produce a wish list of things they wanted for Christmas. Then, he went out and systematically proceeded to get not only every item listed, but also included things that they never asked for , simply because he thought they would enjoy them . I think a better approach would be simply to fulfill their wish list. I figure that you may as well save money at Christmas while you can, before their requests get much more expensive.

Having great time with my new toy

Last year my husband's cousin came to visit us for spring break along with his girlfriend. They both attend an arts college in Boston, Massachusetts. My husband's cousin plays the guitar and his girlfriend is a singer. They both are now entering their senior year and are supposed to graduate next year. We are thinking of getting a graduation present for my husband's cousin. Currently, we are looking at Carl Martin Amplifiers. As he plays a lot of bars and clubs, we think a good guitar amp would be a great gift. Hopefully, he will agree.

historic cold weather here in Washington DC

We have been in the midst of historic cold weather over the past few days. Indeed, it was so cold a couple of days ago that school was cancelled in our area. On yesterday, the weather was still cold, but not as bad, so school opened two hours late. One casualty of the cold weather is that one of our water pipes burst today. Now, my husband will need to get a new torch and welding supplies so that he can repair the pipes. I saw some very affordable products at Rather than making a trip to our local big box home store, I think we may order supplies online to save some money.
