My husband has been something of an audiophile for decades. He has some impressive sounding separate audio components in his basement man cave. After living with him for more than a decade, I have learned how important it is to be able to get your hands on the right part when you need it. There is little that can be more frustrating than finding only male to female adapters t hook up components when what you need is a male to male. This is why I can easily see the value of something like a male to male xlr adapter for attaching pro audio. You never want to have a need of running off to track one down. Thus, it is always best to have extras available.
